Our services

Unlike many other clinics, we allow a minimum of 15 minutes for each appointment.

This ensures there will be time for us to discuss any problems thoroughly. All our consultations are by appointment. If you think you may need extra time, please let us know when you phone to book.

Primary care

A large proportion of our time is dedicated to routine and preventive healthcare. The services we offer include:
  • Vaccination programmes
  • Dietary advice
  • Flea, tick and worm control
  • Microchipping
  • Pet travel advice and documentation
  • Senior pet healthcare
  • Puppy and kitten checks

Dentistry

As well as offering dental advice and checks, we have a range of diets and dental care products to help keep your pet's teeth and gums healthy.

Dental disease can cause mouth pain, infections, bad breath and can also contribute to wider health issues. We carry out scaling and polishing under anaesthetic for dogs and cats and also have dental burrs to treat rabbits and rodents with tooth problems.

Medical investigation

For poorly pets, we are able to carry out a wide range of diagnostic procedures in-house, helping us to get a diagnosis quickly. We have our own laboratory on site, for carrying out blood screens, microscopy and urine analysis.

We have digital x-ray and ultrasonography facilities, ECG monitor and equipment for measuring blood pressure. For the tests we are unable to run in-house we work with a number of external laboratories, with samples usually collected from the clinic same day by courier. We also have good relationships with regional veterinary hospitals and medical specialists who can provide advice and assistance with more complicated problems.

Surgical procedures

Our surgical caseload is wide ranging, including routine spays and castrations, tumour removals, cleaning and stitching wounds, Caesarian sections and gastrointestinal surgery.

We also undertake a number of orthopaedic procedures - managing fractures, ligament tears and joint problems. Where we are unable to offer appropriate surgical intervention we are able to arrange for surgery to be carried out at one of the many referral centres in the South-East.
